In this game, exploration plays just as big of a role as combat. You will need to observe listen think and communicate to find your path forward making use of all your skills along the way. Adventure is full of choices and sometimes a bit of luck will push you through tricky situations.
The combat system combines classic turn based action with meaningful decision making where each move you make carries weight. Whether it is knocking down enemies or leveling up your talents, your choices will directly impact how you progress and grow stronger learning new skills as you go.
The progression system is totally freeform, letting you explore over twenty unique classes with different mechanics. You can combine skills and characteristics to create Unforeseen Synergies adding depth to your Strategy. On top of that, the game’s skill customization is rich—sparks of inspiration might hit while you’re fighting, exploring, cooking, or even dreaming. You can infuse those sparks into skills, making them truly yours and even renaming them.
Crafting is another key element letting you take raw Substances and turn them into whatever you need. Whether it’s crafting potions, inventions, legendary equipment, or just a midnight snack, the choice is yours. Real choices matter in this game too—some may have a smaller impact, while others could alter the entire storyline, leading to multiple possible endings.
You’ll face optional challenges in the form of powerful enemies that don’t care whether you’re new or experienced—they’re just out to crush you. But there’s always a way to outsmart or defeat them if you’re clever enough.
