You play as Mirai, navigating real-time or turn-based combat against up to three enemies at a time. As you journey through the world the story unfolds centering around Mirai and her discovery of an ancient power hidden beneath ruins in Ocean’s End. Along with her pet Sprig she ventures out to rebuild her home New Riverstone,while also dealing with dangerous threats like the Scarlet Tusk Pirates and the Byzankar Empire. Along the way Mirai will face a range of enemies each with their own unique mechanics that can disrupt your puzzle board and force you to adapt your tactics on the fly.
When you are not battling the game offers plenty of exploration and puzzle solving. You will help rebuild the town of New Riverstone by completing quests and collecting decorative items and you can even Personalize your home and town with new features. There’s also a fast-paced minigame in the Mines where clearing lines nets you resources needed to keep building and improving.
The game also supports a local co op mode allowing another player to drop in and assist in battles by performing helpful actions like tossing items or buffing your character.
