As the new Librarian, you’ll find peace in organizing ancient books and making this place your own, while slowly uncovering centuries of history buried within the occult walls. You’ve chosen a life of solitude, but the influence of Hush House extends beyond its walls, and how history unfolds is entirely in your hands.
BOOK OF HOURS offers a deep atmospheric experience with no combat where crafting exploration and discovery take center stage. It’s brought to you by the creator of Fallen London, Sunless Sea, and the double BAFTA-nominated Cultist Simulator.
In this 20-40 (or even 100) hour game, you’ll be acquiring and investigating strange books, crafting mysterious inks and tools, and studying the nine Wisdoms while guiding those who seek your help. Visitors come with their own Stories and questions and your guidance will unlock rewards and further secrets. You will also restore a crumbling ancient library turning it back into a sanctuary of knowledge, while writing your own history with different Legacies that shape your character is backstory and motivations.
Each playthrough offers something fresh with new paths to explore and different outcomes to uncover. Whether you’re an ex-Magnate seeking peace or an Archaeologist fleeing a curse you accidentally triggered, your choices shape not just your future, but the very fate of Hush House itself.
