Overview The Holy Gosh Darn
Rewind time and save the future in this hilarious time-travel adventure game. You’ve got six hours before Heaven goes up in flames, unless you can stop it. With the power to hop between the past and present, you’ll journey through Heaven, Hell, Earth, and Helheim, uncovering secrets in one timeline to affect another, all in a desperate bid to prevent Heaven from exploding—again. In The Holy Gosh Darn, you play as Cassiel, an angel tasked with saving Heaven from an invasion of Phantoms. These guys are seriously messing up your home so you have got to figure out a way to stop them. Armed with a time-traveling watch, you’ll jump across time periods, meeting a cast of absurd characters in constantly changing locations. All the while you are chasing down the Holy Gosh Darn an ancient artifact created by God thousands of years ago that might just hold the key to saving everything.
This game is packed with laugh out loud moments Inventive puzzles and tons of time travel madness. Ever wondered why time travel makes you want to puke. Or why only angels get to swear? Or why it’s totally okay to skip dialogue when you’ve got a ticking clock on the end of Heaven? You will find the answers as you embark on this Metroidvania style adventure from the quirky minds behind Manual Samuel and Helheim Hassle.
Expect to explore four unique worlds across space and time, with NPCs that need a little “motivating” to help you out. There are narrative threads to unravel based on how you progress, where you go, and who you talk to—oh, and you’ll get to roast 23 Heavenly Elders while you’re at it. Plus, meet your favorite biblical characters and, well, 4,250 dogs… but sorry, you can’t pet them.
