Cruise down the hyper highways, taking on jobs like fuel-guzzling long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new gear. Keep an ear on the CB radio to catch up on Cosmic gossip and score some side gigs from fellow truckers.
Keeping your rig in top shape isn’t a walk in the park. You’ve got to keep your core systems running, make sure the gravity compensator is spinning, and patch up the hull to keep your cab from leaking lung juice. Don’t skip those pre-trip shop stops for parts, and think about upgrading your truck at a local garage. Whereas these Upgrades are Essential for Steering volatile sectors and ensuring you make those deliveries on time.
Use the Cosmic map to plan your route and warp Jumps while keeping an eye on your fuel and power levels. Once your path is set, sit back, crank up the cab’s hi-fi, and cruise to a killer soundtrack featuring starburst blues, galactic rock, and asteroid-infused Americana. The open road is calling!
Star Trucker is the brainchild of a small indie team, Monster and Monster. With the help of some talented friends they have crafted an out-of-this-world experience packed with challenges and complex systems to master. So buckle up and join them for the long haul!
And just so you know, the game doesn’t have scary stuff, gore, or foul language, but you’ll be handling alcohol and narcotics (not consuming, just smuggling). On higher difficulties, you can die from lack of oxygen, extreme heat, or cold, but it’s just a fade to black when it happens.
