Taking care of Newborns is no small task but it is worth it to see your colony thrive. Keep those tiny tummies full, deck out a cute nursery, and make sure they’ve got a comfy crib for sleeping. Happy babies mean happy colonists and that is key to keeping your colony running Effortlessly. As your kids grow you will balance work and play helping them explore learn, and develop their traits and passions. If you’re in a rush, you can even use growth vats to speed up the process, though the results might not be the brightest.
Dive into genetic modification by creating xenohumans, your very own genetically–modified colonists. You can collect exotic genes from traders quests or even prisoners mixing and matching to create some wild and advantageous traits. These xenohumans aren’t just for show—there are whole factions of them, from tough pig-people to poison-loving pirates. Each faction has its own quirks, and how you deal with them will vary, whether you’re facing fire-breathers or wolf–riding riflemen.
Join the ranks of the Eternal blood-drinkers, the Sanguophages, if you’re worthy. These beings pass as human while hiding Amazing powers thanks to Genius nano-machines. They are ageless beautiful, and deadly, capable of launching spines and healing allies. Whether you join their cult for immortality or force them to grant it to you, the choice is yours.
Finally take control of mechanoids by becoming a mechanitor using brain implants to command these semi-living machines. Grow them in high-tech gestator tanks and build an army of combat and labor mechanoids. Experiment with different battle tactics using a variety of mechanoid types, and at home, use mechanoid workers to keep your colony thriving. Face off against super-mechanoid bosses to advance your tech, but be mindful of the pollution your mechanoid infrastructure creates. Manage it well, or adapt to the toxic environment with new gear and modifications.
