Overview Monastery
Monastery is a roguelite Card-battler where you follow the twisted journey of a lone survivor of the Witchplague. The world you are about to step into is packed with bandits and monsters of all shapes and sizes and you will need to fight your way through to find loot that can keep you alive. But watch out the real danger starts once you step outside the Monastery gates! Hard Time III
Whereas the game is full of tough challenges with different areas to Discover each packed with unique creatures. You’ll need to stay alert since enemies attack from all sides, and choosing the right weapons and gear for your playstyle is key to surviving, especially when it comes to facing off against terrifying bosses.
In Monastery, the gear you collect really defines how you play. Each piece of equipment comes with its own card pool so you can build your deck around your favorite style. However every area has its own set of enemies with special abilities and loot making each part of the game feel fresh.
As you go you will adapt your deck with new cards abilities and items to counter your enemies’ weaknesses. Plus some items you collect stick around for future runs giving you an edge next time. The Battle system also keeps you on your toes with Foes attacking from both sides so strategy is everything.
Things get harder as you progressafter beating a boss, the enemies get stronger, so the difficulty ramps up fast. But the more you use a weapon, the better cards and upgrades you unlock for it. Between the atmospheric artwork fitting soundtrack and endless ways to play Monastery is built for high replay value offering a unique experience with every run.
