Overview How We Die
How We Die is a deck-building roguelike with a board game and TRPG vibe turning Unpredictable outcomes into certainties. The line between game and reality blurs when Hic and Illec complete a TRPG scenario that summons aliens, only to wake up the next day to news of an actual alien invasion. Their game master, Is, leaves behind a cryptic message—”Come to my home”—before vanishing without a trace. Head To Hell
You won’t get far with just your bare hands. To make progress, you will need to defeat enemies and collect a variety of tools each one bringing you closer to your destination. The cool thing? You can use tools as long as conditions are met allowing you to string together combos and maximize your efficiency.
In this game, dice are everything—they’re both resources and action points. As you progress you will be able to strengthen and modify your dice, enhancing your Probabilities and creating more powerful combos. Plus, you can tweak your character’s settings to add new abilities or bonuses, even if some choices seem a bit strange like adding alien worship to Illec is personality. Hey if it boosts your draw count it might be worth it!
