One of the coolest features is the star-throwing mechanic. As a yokai, Yumetaro can summon a bouncing star that carries the momentum of his movement. You can use it to hit switches fight enemies or even ride it to reach tricky spots. Mastering the star Is physics opens up tons of Opportunities like discovering treasure finding shortcuts or Shattering speed records.
On top of all that the legendary David Wise has crafted an incredible soundtrack for the game mixing brand-new tunes with remade versions of the originals. With creative direction from Pelle Cahndlerby and live recording in Sweden, the music really brings the world of Gimmick! 2 to life.
The original Gimmick! hit the Famicom™ back in 1992, but was only released in Scandinavia, making it a rare gem. Now, with Gimmick! 2, the whole world gets the chance to enjoy this beloved game with modern twists!
