The new campaign kicks off five years after Professor Fred Capacitor mysteriously vanished on the high seas. Now his son Max a captain in the United Navies is on a mission to fight the pirate horde s battleships carriers and dreadnoughts all while chasing rumors about his father’s fate and hunting down a terrifying mega-weapon.
Whereas the campaign includes 18 missions with unique settings ranging from ship-to-ship Fight and enemy Ban to boarding actions and fort vs. ship battles. You’ll face hostile and dynamic environments, interactive graphic novel-style cutscenes, and a smooth learning curve that introduces new features and weapons as you progress. Plus, there are 20 skirmish/multiplayer maps, a slick United Navies HUD, and a dynamic new soundtrack to keep you pumped.
The DLC also packs new armaments like the Energy Dome which creates a protective shield against projectiles and the Harpoon which fires Decoy and Control ammo. You can launch jets from the Runway, upgrade the Hardpoint to a Deckgun or Orbital Laser, and use a variety of explosive and high-tech munitions to dominate your enemies.
The new water tech adds a whole new dimension to the game with ships floating Realistically complete with splash effects, bubbles underwater explosions, and sound effects. Structures not connected to a reactor will sink unless reconnected quickly, adding even more strategy to the gameplay. However the High Seas DLC also features an Limited United Navies HUD and a brand-new Score by Ella van Dyck making it a must-play for Forts fans looking to take their game to the next level.
