This isn’t your average tropical retreat. Isla Sombra offers plenty of Opportunities for those Willing to take risks. You can dive into all kinds of drug production and distribution mastering the art of buying producing processing and perfecting your product to reach the desired quality. Whether you go solo or team up with a friend in co-op mode, you’ll have access to a wide variety of environments—from quiet villages to bustling harbors and gritty towns—each with its own challenges and opportunities.
The A.I. is more advanced too. You’ll have to be on guard because militia groups can raid villages, stirring up trouble for the locals. The economy operates with two currencies—the local one and the ever-coveted U.S. dollar—so you’ll need to play it smart to make the most of your resources. Set against the backdrop of early 2000s tech and the tense atmosphere of a Caribbean dictatorship, Isla Sombra is full of colorful characters with their own goals and hidden agendas, making every decision you make count.
