Overview Diplomacy is Not an Option
Diplomacy is Not an Option throws you into a medieval fantasy world where you’re tasked with building and defending your base in a survival RTS with an active pause feature. As a minor Lord, you’re constantly forced into battle, always outnumbered and struggling to survive. You will need to build walls raise armies and manage everything from engineering to magic as you defend your castle against waves of over 25,000 enemies.
Your king is powerful but incredibly self-absorbed. He loves to drink and live the good life, but after draining the treasury and hiking taxes, things have gone south. The peasants are rebelling, and the King expects you to handle it. He also can sends you on a mission to a distant land rumored to be overflowing with gold. Now, you have to decide—will you serve the King and fill his coffers, join the rebels and take him down, or even lead an army of undead to conquer the kingdom? No matter which path you choose, expect bloodshed and armies of archers, knights, siege weapons, and more to stand by your side. Prison Alone
Physics plays a major role in the game—every arrow, catapult stone, and enemy is affected by it. You’ll need to think strategically about where to position your troops, build towers, and plan out your lines of attack and retreat. Fortifications can either be your best ally or your downfall if not thought out carefully.
Your castle is success hinges on the peasants who built it. You’ll need to keep them happy, or things can quickly go wrong. Agriculture is key to ensuring your soldiers do not starve and building homes and burying the dead is essential to prevent plagues. Neglect your people, and you could end up dealing with empty stockpiles, broken walls, or worse—a zombie apocalypse on your doorstep.
Managing resources is another critical part of survival. Food wood stone iron and gold form the backbone of your economy. You will need to carefully gather and store these resources ensuring your expansions are protected from enemy attacks. When in need, the merchant dirigible can deliver emergency supplies, but balancing greed with security will be a constant struggle.
If things get dire, why not dabble in the dark arts? The game’s magical system allows you to harness powerful spells, including summoning massive fireballs or raising the dead to fight for you. Build magical monuments and harvest soul crystals to unleash devastating attacks on your enemies, giving you an edge in battle.
Diplomacy is Not an Option offers freedom in how you approach the game. Beyond the main campaign, you can experiment in Endless Mode, Sandbox Mode, or Challenge Mode, developing your own strategies on procedurally generated maps. Whether you focus on building defenses early, amassing large armies, or investing in long-term growth, how you succeed is entirely up to you. With real-time battles and the option to pause whenever you need, you’re in full control of your fate.
