Critter Cove is a mix of life sim and town builder where you get to explore a handcrafted open world. Spend your doubloons to upgrade buildings explore new areas to find blueprints and gather resources to grow your town. The more you upgrade, the higher your tourist rating, and the higher your rating, the more tourists will show up—meaning more cash to keep improving. It’s a cycle, and yeah, you totally get it.
Explore a tropical archipelago filled with the ruins of an Archaic civilization. Dive underwater to salvage old treasures rescue shipwrecked critters and find exotic ingredients. It is a world of ancient tech mysterious ruins and sunken treasures just waiting for you to discover.
As you explore you will find resources to craft tons of items,unlock new blueprints and even bring back unique plants to grow on your farm. Take what you salvage and turn it into something cool to impress tourists and boost that all-important tourist rating.
With all that tourist money and salvaged goods, you can restore old buildings and open new shops for the town. You can even decorate your own place with furniture you either make or find while exploring. Whereas make Critter Cove your own by crafting decorations and setting up new attractions.
Of course, you won’t be able to do it all alone. The world is packed with colorful characters—some will be easy-going and ready to help, while others might need a bit of convincing. Rescue Critters around the world, help them find a home, and give them jobs in your town. However keeping them happy is key to your Achievement.
Go on quests to find hidden treasures and ancient relics, then donate them to the Museum of Mystery and charge tourists a small fee to learn about the local culture.
Why you can even create your perfect Isle look. Want to be part animal, part human? How about a parrot head and monkey tail? To go wild with hundreds of outfit combos and make your own unique style.
There is so much to do in Critter Cove rebuild abandoned attractions, explore wild locations like sunken cities catch some post apocalyptic fish and discover new crafting recipes. You can even assign townsfolk to jobs they love (or hate), cook powerful food to boost your stamina, and run ad campaigns to get more tourists to visit your island.
