Overview BAKERU
Disaster strikes Japan as Oracle Saitaro and his Festival Troops launch a bizarre festival to take control of the country. Bakeru takes on the mission to travel across 47 Japanese Prefectures battling to free Japan from the grip of evil spirits. Set in a “Fairy Tale Japan,” which blends modern Japan with classic period drama, Bakeru’s journey unfolds over 50 action-packed stages. Armed with a magical drum passed down by the Tanuki Clan, which is said to purify evil spirits, Game faces off against enemies and navigates through traps with straightforward, yet engaging controls. As you progress, Bakeru gains the ability to transform into legendary Japanese heroes like Kintaro and Momotaro by obtaining a Henge License. Whenever these Changes allow Game to harness the unique skills and Skills of these heroes to overcome various challenges. The Steam version of the game introduces new features including powerful attacks like the Cyclone Spinning Top and a Hurricane + Spinning Top combo along with a new enemy the Lantern Boss.
In this action-packed adventure you will guide Bakeru through over 47 stages each inspired by Japan is prefectures and featuring its own unique motifs. The game also includes variant stages where Game transforms into a vehicle for high speed chases or takes to the skies for intense air combat adding even more Enthusiasm to the journey.
