With countless entries in the expanding Fate series, like the popular mobile game Fate/Grand Order, the origin of the franchise returns once again.

In Fate/stay night, the Holy Grail War is a ritual held in Fuyuki City by magi, where seven Masters, who summon powerful Heroic Spirits known as Servants, fight to claim the Holy Grail—a relic capable of granting any wish. Despite four previous wars, no victor has emerged. Shirou Emiya, saved from the flames of the Fourth Holy Grail War by Kiritsugu Emiya, grows up with dreams of becoming a Hero of Justice, just like the man who saved him.

Now, years later, Shirou finds himself pulled into the new Holy Grail War. Attacked by a Servant, he’s saved at the last second by a mysterious girl in knightly armor. However this marks the beginning of Shirou’s journey as a Master alongside his powerful Servant, as they dive into the dangerous world of magic, war, and fate.
